Blake Clough Consulting

Today we are delighted to launch Blake Clough Consulting (“Blake Clough”), a new Energy Consultancy focussing on the electricity networks and the transition to Net Zero. Our mission is to accelerate the decarbonisation of energy networks to help slow climate change, whilst optimising the costs and benefits to both our clients and the end consumer.

Blake Clough has been established by its three founding Directors: Anna Ferguson, Anthony Donoghue and Andy Holmes. However, we have ambitious plans to grow to allow us to offer our services to a wider client base in the near future.

Anna was previously the Power Systems Director with WSP (and prior to this has been a Director with TNEI and Head of Power Networks with Atkins). Anthony Donoghue was Networks Innovation Manager and Power Systems Team Lead for the WSP Glasgow Team and prior to this was a key member of SP Energy Network’s Innovation Team.  He also has several years’ experience in the Oil & Gas industry with Shell working offshore in the North Sea. Andy Holmes will ensure the smooth running of the business and ensure that Anna and Anthony can focus on delivering technical work for our clients.

We are looking to grow the business as we develop around the Northern England and Glasgow regions. Initially, we plan to focus on the current growth in offshore wind projects and supporting onshore network clients, primarily for innovation and regulation work.  We are really excited to get started and look forward to working with our friends and clients in the industry over the coming years!

Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions on how we could support your business or organisation. We’d be delighted to speak with you and explore how we can work together.
