Senior or Principal Project Engineer – Energy
Location: West Yorkshire, Glasgow, London, Flexible
Desired Capabilities and Experience:
- Experience within the electricity networks or generation industries.
- Master’s degree or higher in a relevant engineering subject.

Senior Electrical Design Engineer
Location: West Yorkshire, Glasgow, Remote
We are looking for passionate and high performing individuals who enjoy working on challenging projects to join us to help deliver a range of interesting and rewarding projects.
Applicants should have a strong background in electrical substation design at Distribution and/ or Transmission level in Great Britain (GB). We are seeking individuals that can work to develop concept designs and initial feasibility studies, through to Front End Engineering Design (FEED) level designs. It is essential to have the flexibility and knowledge to be able to undertake site visits, liaise with the client to develop the designs and work with our CAD designers to produce suitable drawings.
We are interested in individuals that may wish to help us grow and develop our in-house design team, by ensuring excellence in delivery, training staff, preparing proposals/ quotations for new projects and fostering client relationships.
The following capabilities and experience are desired for this role:
- Strong track record in electrical substation design.
- Ideally specific experience in renewable energy project design, e.g. offshore wind, solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects
- Experience in the development of concept designs, feasibility studies and FEED-level designs.
- Experience and knowledge of GB substation design and related electrical standards.
- Experience in working directly with clients.
- Ability to lead and train a team of CAD engineers to produce high quality drawings.
- Excellent report writing skills.
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with others.
- Client focussed with the ability to manage and grow positive relationships with a broad range of clients.
Power Systems Consultant
Location: Glasgow or Slaithwaite
The capabilities and experience desired for this role:
- Experience within the electricity networks industry.
- Master’s degree or higher in a relevant engineering subject or similar.
- Power Systems modelling experience such as load flow, fault level studies, grid code compliance, transient stability and harmonic analysis.
- Scripting experience, e.g. Python or DIgSILENT DSL.
- Strong data analytical skills.
- Understanding of electricity networks and the challenges faced by Network Operators and their various stakeholders and customers.
- Excellent report writing skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with others.

Business Support Executive
Location: Slaithwaite
We are seeking an individual to carry out business support and administrative tasks. This will involve working closely with our Operations Director to carry out and lead on various tasks. There is also the opportunity to assist in defining new processes and driving business change, as we are a relatively young company and growing very quickly. There is also the opportunity for involvement in marketing and preparation of proposals.
The role is likely to include the following tasks:
- Setting up new projects
- Invoicing projects and submitting to clients
- Communicating with the team to update (for example) holiday trackers and ensuring that time sheet bookings have been made
- Organising and booking travel
- Processing expenses
- Planning and organising away days and other get togethers
- Leading on cash collection
Desired capabilities and experience beneficial but not essential for this role:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
