Senior or Principal Project Engineer – Energy
Location: West Yorkshire, Glasgow, London, Flexible


Desired Capabilities and Experience:

  • Experience within the electricity networks or generation industries.
  • Master’s degree or higher in a relevant engineering subject.
  • Electricity regulation/ policy
  • Grid connection process, regulation and guidance
  • Project Management and organisational skills.
  • Strong data analytical skills.
  • Understanding of electricity networks and the challenges faced by Network Operators and their various stakeholders and customers.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with others.

Team Manager – Energy
Location: West Yorkshire / Flexible

The role will be partially billable and partially overhead to allow the right balance between project delivery/ leadership and management. 


Day to day activities:

  • Resourcing projects in collaboration with the team
  • Checking on project progress and any issues
  • Reviewing deliverables
  • Producing proposals and quotations for clients
  • Developing and implementing processes and solutions
  • Recruiting and interviewing

Power Systems Consultant
Location: Glasgow or Slaithwaite


The capabilities and experience desired for this role:

  • Experience within the electricity networks industry.
  • Master’s degree or higher in a relevant engineering subject or similar.
  • Power Systems modelling experience such as load flow, fault level studies, grid code compliance, transient stability and harmonic analysis.
  • Scripting experience, e.g. Python or DIgSILENT DSL.
  • Strong data analytical skills.
  • Understanding of electricity networks and the challenges faced by Network Operators and their various stakeholders and customers.
  • Excellent report writing skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with others.
  • Client focussed with the ability to manage and grow positive relationship with demanding clients.
  • Innovative mindset, with the ability to problem solve and identify creative solutions to challenging problems.
