Showcasing another of our consultant’s research interests – this time it’s Amjed Eljetlawi with a conference paper recently presented and published at Developments in Power Systems Protection (DPSP) 2022. Amjed’s paper was on “Assessment of Time-Domain Transmission Line Protection”, and was carried out in association with National Grid and University of Warwick.

Amjed is currently in the final stages of his PhD with Manchester University. The paper tests and evaluates a specific double circuit to evaluate the performance of a Travelling Wave differential protection scheme under different scenarios, with promising results.
